William N. Still Jr., author of "Crisis at Sea," and Joshua M. Smith, author of "Borderland Smuggling," have won the North American Society of Oceanic History's 2007 John Lyman Book Awards and John H. Schroeder, author of "Commodore John Rodgers," has received an Honorable Mention.
John Hann, author of "The Native American World Beyond Apalachee," Martin Dyckman, author of "Floridian of His Century," Daniel S. Murphree, author of "Constructing Floridians," and Faith Eidse, editor of "Voices of the Apalachicola" have won the 2007 Florida Historical Society Book Awards.
